A liftmobile is an electrically powered hand truck. A problem arises when you try to lift a load with a regular hand truck. As the load rises, the hand truck tends to move forwards or backwards. That is why liftmobiles are equipped with an automatic brake that is activated when the load is raised a few centimetres. The wheels then remain in place. This allows you to lift the load safely: you can easily feel the balance yourself. Because the brake consists of electrically driven rollers on the tyres, the liftmobile can still be moved forwards or backwards in a controlled manner despite the braking action. This allows you to place the load on the workbench or over an obstacle.

The liftmobile is electrically powered so that the brake on the wheels remains engaged during lifting. The brake must also be powered so that the liftmobile can be moved slightly forwards and backwards when the load is raised. In other words, if you want to place or mount the load on something, you need to be able to bridge that last bit of distance. The electric drive for both functions (lifting and driving) is essential to the design and operation of the liftmobile.

Due to the operating principle of the liftmobile, it contains two electric motors and drives. This makes it comparable to the price of two electric bicycles. Yes. See also: The secret of Tiller®. Above the wheels are two drive rollers with an electric motor, which are pressed onto both tyres when the load is lifted. It is similar to a caravan mover.

A major advantage is that the liftmobile is compact and does not require support legs. This is an essential difference compared to other lifting devices or stackers. This makes it easy to lift and/or place objects over obstacles and allows you to easily get a load into the right place without having to lift anything! With other similar lifting devices, you often still have to manually bridge a gap (and therefore lift!) or they are not stable when the load is raised. In addition, the liftmobile is easy to transport, as it can lift itself into the work van.

There is a short learning curve; often, it only takes a few attempts to master it. After that, anyone can work with it safely.

There are three basic models of the liftmobile: the LM75, the LM120 and the LM160. These differ in terms of power and lifting speed (see also: 3 basic models, 1001 interchangeable attachments). You can choose from a maximum lifting capacity of 75 kg, 120 kg or 160 kg. Many different attachments are available for these three models, allowing many types of loads to be lifted. The lifting height of all three basic models is 1.10 metres, but this can be increased with a quick-to-install extension mast. There is a choice of various extension masts.

The liftmobile can lift 100 to 200 times on a fully charged battery, depending on the lifting height and weight of the load. If you need to lift something 10-20 times a day, you can safely carry out your work for the entire week. Recharging in between uses is also no problem, because it is a NiMH battery, it has no ‘memory’ and the supplied charger automatically switches to trickle charging when the battery is full.

Daily maintenance: When not in use, the liftmobile should still be connected to the corresponding charger regularly (at least every 2 months). This ensures that the battery pack is kept in the best possible condition for uninterrupted use. Remove any dirt from the liftmobile during and immediately after use. When used in a dusty environment, clean regularly with compressed air. Do not use water or a high-pressure cleaner! This can damage electrical components and other parts of the liftmobile.

For repairs, please contact your supplier. They can supply the original replacement parts and install them for you. The supplier is also aware of the adjustments and safety risks associated with this. At least once a year, the liftmobile must undergo periodic work equipment inspection and maintenance, preferably carried out by your supplier or your own technical service department.

In small spaces (such as bathrooms, shower rooms or technical rooms): It is the most compact lifting device and the liftmobile can rotate around its axis, even when loaded.

Yes, every liftmobile lifts with a stroke of 1.10 m. So if you start at a higher starting height, you can lift higher. This is often achieved with a custom-made (wooden) box. For example, when installing ovens and microwaves. Various extended versions are also available, doubling the height to a maximum of 2.20 m. Please note that this reduces the weight that the liftmobile can lift.
